Policy for Web and Email

For the purposes of this policy, candidates are all persons who have filed as Democrats in partisan races, or any candidate in a non-partisan race.

Web Site: User Registration

Anyone will be allowed to register on the web site and, therefore, to post comments in the open message boards. Any user found to be using inappropriate language, or to be spreading lies about a candidate or campaign for the purposes of promoting another candidate or party, will be blocked from accessing the web site and posting messages.

Web Site: Candidate Information

Candidates should submit all information that they want posted to the web site or sent via email to: postthis@boonecountydems.net.

Prior to Primary

The Web site will list the following information for each candidate that provides the information:

Candidate Name
Campaign Address
Campaign email and/or Candidate email
Campaign Website and/or Candidate Website
Candidate Photo (headshot)
Short Biography (Maximum of 250 Words)

After Primary

The web site will list any additional information that the candidate requests within reason.

Email List: Subscribers

Subscription to the email list service is open to all members of the Boone County Democratic Party.

Email List: Candidate Events

Candidates should submit all events that they want sent via email to: emailthis@boonecountydems.net. At a minimum, events should describe the event, time and date, location, donation expectations and who to contact for more information. Descriptions that are excessively long will be sent back to the candidate for revision.
