Make your voice heard! A letter to the editor and calls to local radio and television stations can be an effective way for Democrats to deliver important information to the public or make a point about one-sided stories, inaccurate coverage, or Republican exaggerations and lies.

Below are some instructions on how to submit your letters, opinion pieces, and comments to local media outlets.

Columbia Daily Tribune

Letters to the Editor (250 words) The maximum length is 250 words. The Tribune edits for clarity, accuracy, punctuation and spelling. The letter must be signed, but The Tribune will withhold your name if requested. Please print or type your name, street address, city and a phone number where you can be reached between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Jim Robertson is the Editor. Hank Waters is the publisher. Letter writers are usually limited to the publication of one letter per month.
